New bike build
My new bike build for 2019
I've managed to procure a 2002 Honda Hornet 900 that has come to an unfortunate end into the back of a car.
The guy riding it ended up with some pretty well battered plums in the process.
Damage is as follows:
Bent fork tubes (forks shown are temporary only)
Squashed headers
Radiator damaged
Damaged oil filter
Damaged clocks
Dented/chipped tank (Repairable)
Seat ripped
Seat unit damaged (Repairable)
Seat lock damaged
My plans for the bike are to modernise it and add a little more power so I can use it for commuting and allow me to take my girlfriend out as my other bikes have only one seat!
USD Forks from a Triumph Tiger 1050 (CB900 requires longer forks than most)
Radial brakes on above forks
Fireblade headers/exhaust (drop weight and tidy up rear end)
New clock surround
New headlight possibly
Paintjob/logo's to suit
